For decisions regarding admissions, ALHOSN University considers academic qualifications, the diversity of the student body, all applicants’ special abilities, talents and achievements. The university believes that the diversity of the student body enhances the quality of the education its students receive.
ALHOSN admits students regardless of their national origin, color, gender, disability or religion. Students are entitled to all the rights, privileges and programs offered by the university. The maximum number of students to be enrolled for each semester is to be specified by the university’s Board of Trustees in accordance with the available resources of the university.
ALHOSN requires a UAE General Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent as certified by the U.A.E Ministry of Education with a minimum overall average of 60%. Certain programs may have other explicitly admissions requirements to ensure that students admitted to degree programs, have an adequate background in specific areas.
Students, who obtained their secondary school completion certificate from outside the UAE, are required to meet the conditions set by the Ministry of Education. Their credentials must be certified by the Ministry of Education from their respective governments.
The student is required to have a minimum of 7 subjects from the O-Levels, AS-Levels, A-Levels. The grades that are accepted as follows:
- O-Level: C grade and above.
- AS-Level: D grade and above.
- A-Level: E grade and above.
(Please note that the student must finish grade 11 in the school.)
The minimum overall average required of 60% and the student MUST have grade 12 in the school.
- School Certificate (Original Copy OR Official Copy)
- Passport Copy valid for a minimum period of six month
- Birth Certificate Copy
- Six recent passport-size photographs.
- A document certifying a passing TOEFL ( Paper-based (Local) – 500) (Computer-Based – 173) (Internet-Based (IBT) – 61) OR IELTS - 5.0
