The Education Diploma’s Slogan in ALHOSN University is “The Teacher Makes learning much easier”.
This program specially made for those who studied in Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences and never got a professional training before joining the University.
The program is totally correlated with ALHOSN University Education Faulty it’s also correlated with the Global standards which was set by the INTASC. This Program can prepare a teacher who has the knowledge, the Skills, and all what it takes to face the challenges in the 21st Century.

Program Requirements

A Baccalaureate Degree from a recognized University.
An acceptable undergraduate GPA. The typical GPA would be 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Teaching Experience

Program is taught in Arabic
The program duration is about 2 Years (30) credited hours.

Master of Education

Admission Requirements

Interview in English with department faculty
Other tests in reading, writing and/or thinking skills may also be given
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
An acceptable undergraduate GPA. The GPA of a typical applicant would be 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
A minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based exam) or equivalent
Teaching experience
Two letters of recommendation

Exceptions to Admission Requirements:

Candidates scoring 530 on the paper-based TOEFL, or equivalent may be admitted for a probationary period of one semester. In order to continue in the program such candidates must score 550 on TOEFL or equivalent.

Continuation on the Program:

A student must maintain at least 2.5 GPA to continue in the program.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Admission Requirements

The minimum entry requirement into the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at ALHOSN University is a Bachelor degree in Business Administration (BBA) from a recognized university or institution of higher education. Graduates of other degree programs will be admitted into the MBA program after completing the MBA Foundation courses.

English Requirements

Applicants with degrees from institutions whose medium of instruction is not English must submit a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 550 (paper-based) or 231 (computer-based), or an IELTS bandscore of 6 to be considered for regular admission.
